underwear optional
underwear is never required when a cape is involved.
trying out a new way of displaying my flocked friends in a sort of "open" diorama. base is a slice of wood, sanded and shellacked. everything else is magic. this might be something i put up for sale in an etsy sort of situation.
edit: just sold this guy on etsy for $65, completing my first ever etsy sale :]

an art show for steven
two dioramas i made for the upcoming robot chicken and friends present: an art show for steven benefit which takes place this saturday the 23rd from 8 to 11 at the iam8bit gallery in los angeles. check the link for all the info you need! it's going to be a great night for an even greater cause. and remember to get there early if you want some art because if it's anything like the last robot chicken benefit show it's going to go fast! this event is not to be missed. food, fun and feeling good helping others, what more could you ask for :]
this first diorama has been pre-sold to a work buddy but will still be on display. title: "snow day"
this one will still be available for $125. title: "i wiff u"
the little scenes were built inside of a coconut shell which has been sanded down on the back and is ready to hang. mixed materials used. bunnies and pups are sculpted from sculpey and then flocked.
